• What is an Order?
An Order is a tool that is available on the 24option platform which allows you to set up a future position. An Order opens a new position for you at the exact moment that the market price of the asset reaches the price you specified (Higher or Lower than the current trading price depending on your choice).
• How to open an Order?
To create a new Order on the 24option platform follow these steps:
→ Go to the main platform screen
→ Select the underlying asset you wish to trade
→ Fill in the amount you want to open the position with
→ Check the box marked “Open a trade when rate reaches”
→ Set your desired price marker
→ Click on ‘High’ or ‘Low’
Please note that not all assets have the Order option available.
• What happen next?
You will see the Order opened under the tab named “Orders”
The Order remains pending until the price of the underlying asset reaches the price you set when you opened the Order. Once the market price reaches the pre-chosen rate, the Order will open the trade in the direction chosen (‘High’ or ‘Low’).
Once order is executed, its status will change to “Executed” and details about the trade will be displayed under the “Open Trades” tab.
• When does the order close automatically?
In the case that an Order has reached the “no more trade’limit before reaching the set rate, the Order will be canceled automatically and the status will change to “Expired”.
• How can I cancel an order manually?
You can manually cancel an Order at any time by clicking on the “Cancel Order” button that is located under the “Orders” tab. The Order status will change to “canceled”.
• Can the payout amount change until the Order is executed?
The payout amount displayed at the moment the Order is executed will not change.
